Pogo the Clown- John Wayne Gacey

John Wayne Gacy, often called "Pogo the Clown" or the "Killer Clown," was an American serial killer. Between 1972 and 1978, he murdered at least 33 young men and boys in the Chicago area. Gacy would often lure his victims by impersonating a clown named "Pogo" at children's parties and other events. His crimes were particularly gruesome, and he buried most of his victims in the crawl space of his home. He was convicted and sentenced to death, and was executed by lethal injection in 1994.
